Homemade Taco Seasoning Mix
- ¼ cup chili powder
- 2 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp sea salt
- ¾ tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika (use regular paprika if you don't have smoked)
- 2 tsp dried oregano (or dried cilantro)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes (optional)
Combine all of the ingredients together, store in an air tight container.
To use, add 2 Tablespoons seasoning per one pound of cooked ground meat along with ¼ cup water. Simmer 5 minutes or until the liquid is a absorbed.
