- 1½ pounds of steak or roast cut into bite-sized pieces
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- ½ cup soy sauce (low sodium soy or coconut aminos may be used)
- ⅛ cup Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp dried basil
- 1 Tbsp dried parsley
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Cut steak into similar bite-sized pieces. Mix all the marinade ingredients together and pour over the steak pieces. Massage the marinade into the steak pieces.
Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes up to 24 hours. The tougher the cut of meat the longer you will want to marinate it.
Heat a cast-iron or heavy skillet to medium-high heat. Remove steak pieces from the marinade and place them in the hot skillet. Discard the remaining marinade.
Cook for 1-2 minutes, you want to make sure you get a good sear on them but don't overcook them. Turn them over and cook for another 1-2 minutes or until done to your preference. If your skillet isn't big enough, you may need to cook the steak in batches.
