Ingredients

  • cups flour
  • ¼ cup baking powder
  • tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • ½ cup dry milk
  • 1 cup shortening or butter

Instructions

  • Sift all dry ingredients together.
  • Cut in the shortening, until it resembles a course meal.
  • Store in airtight containers.
  • When measuring for a recipe, lightly put in the cup and level, don't pack tightly.
