- ¼ cup baking powder
- 1½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- 2 Tbs sugar
- ½ cup dry milk
- 1 cup shortening or butter
Sift all dry ingredients together.
Cut in the shortening, until it resembles a course meal.
Store in airtight containers.
When measuring for a recipe, lightly put in the cup and level, don't pack tightly.
