- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- ¼ cup water
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1-3 Tbs brown sugar
Peel, core, and chop your apples. Place in a medium saucepan with the water and cinnamon.
Cover, and cook over medium heat until apples are soft and mush easily. Depending on the apples used, this could take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes.
Add brown sugar to taste. Mash with a potato masher or blend in a food chopper or blender.
